Farnsworth Art Museum will host a workshop on watercolor technique led by Katharine Cartwright at the museum’s Gamble Education Center, 12 Grace Street in Rockland, Monday through Friday, July 22 to 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Beginner and intermediate artists will explore and improve techniques in application, removal and texture and learn about physical properties and limitations of surfaces, paints and brushes. Spruce Head resident Cartwright is an internationally recognized artist whose paintings are included in hundreds of private and corporate collections.
